Shot-Gun life

OK, so here I am with my head in the shed again. It's been a eventful couple of weeks but it's left me with a definate feeling of lack-of-direction.
Greenbelt was good, had a decent time with Randy Stonehill, Kevin Max and got to meet some behind the scenes industry bods. Power Fest was OK, big focus on Community. Saw some old friends for Sunday lunch and spent Monday sleeping off the weekend.
Now the come down.
It all seems a little shot gun in my aproach to life. What am I singing about and why? What am I living for? Christain/political/charitable/worship/rockstar/husband/father..... and where's the focus?
It's interesting, I spent a couple of days with Randy Stonehill. He's a pioneer of Jesus music, been around, lived a life. He's the type you'd read about in Keith Greens life story and think, 'Man, I wish my life was like his...!"
No you don't. He's like you and me - got his problems and trials but he has a faith as well. He's focused and the guys he's worked with, Larry Norman, Phil Keaggy, Keith Green, all focussed guys.
I want to know what I should really be aiming at.
Lot of frustrations as ever with church. Lot of pain in life. But What i sing about hits the mark so.....

Sorry, that's all a bit random. Maybe I'll get there.
